Tires are an important part of every mini bike. After all, it’s literally where the rubber meets the road. For most, the stock tires are just fine, but if you want to upgrade or need to replace old damaged tires, here are four great options.

All of these tires are a great choice that come at an affordable price. However, each tire has it’s own advantages. So which tire is best for you? This depends on what you want to do with your mini bike or more specifically, what kind of terrain you plan to ride on.

The Wanda ATV Tires 1007 is a great all around tire for mixed use riding and a good replacement for the stock tires. The Sunf Power II Tires were created for extreme off-roading and mudding. The Wanda Sport ATV Tires 10038 are less aggressive off-road tires that work well on most surfaces. Finally, the Sunf A021 TT Sport Tires are designed for driving on hard pack or pavement.

The Load Rating Index is an assigned number that represents the maximum weight a tire can safely carry at manufacturer’s recommended tire pressure. For example a Load Index Rating of 28 has a max load capacity of 220 lbs.

The Speed Rating number represents the maximum speed the tire is designed for. For example an “F” speed rated tire has a maximum speed of 50 mph and “J” has a maximum speed of 62 mph.

The Wanda ATV 1007 tires a good all around tire for almost any terrain. The non-directional tread pattern that provides predictable steering. The tread pattern is also very close to the tread pattern that comes on most stock mini bike tires. This makes it a great option when replacing the original tires that have become damaged or worn out.

With the shallowest tread depth of only .28″, these tires allow for a comfortable ride on smoother surfaces like pavement, but still gives you enough traction on dirt and gravel. These tires should easily fit most stock mini bike rims and with heavy 4 ply rated construction, they will hold up well under any riding conditions.

The Sunf A051 Power II tires are great off-road tires that can handle dirt, mud, rock, and any other terrain. If your looking for that extra grip for harsh off-road riding, the Sunf A051 Power II tires will deliver.

Although great on the trail, if your primary riding surface is asphalt or pavement, the knobby .63″ deep tread design is probably not the best. This tire was created with a heavy 6 ply construction that will easily carry you through harsh backcountry riding without having to worry about puncturing a tire. Not to mention, every mini bike looks awesome with a set of these knobby tires.

The Wanda Sport ATV 10038 tires are another versatile option. These tires will perform great on almost any terrain. The tread pattern is a less aggressive off-road design that provides excellent traction for off-road riding, but can still handle pavement and hard surfaces without any problems.

The 4 ply construction of the tires make them durable enough to handle jagged rocks and sharp edges without puncturing. Like the the Wanda ATV 1007 tires, the Wanda Sport ATV 10038 tires are a great option if you are looking to replace the stock tires with something similar. They have a .32″ tread depth and a tread pattern that is slightly more aggressive than the stock tires and Wanda Sport ATV 10038 tires.

Sunf A021 TT Sport

The last tires on our list are the Sunf A021 TT Sport tires. Unlike the rest, these tires were created for flat track racing and hard surfaces. This is not a tire that will give you that extra traction you need off-road, but the directional “V” angled tread and large contact area are perfect for paved roads in wet and dry conditions. They can also be used on grass without the fear of tearing up your lawn.

These tires have a speed rating of “N” or up to 87 mph, so they can handle modified engines that are built for pure speed. The 6 ply premium rubber construction with a special compound give the tires increased durability and tread life. If you primarily ride on pavement or hard pack surfaces, the Sunf A021 TT Sport tires are a tough option to beat.
